What is a Women’s Circle?
A community of women who assemble together to be bolstered by a space of support. In the flux and ever evolving seasons and cycles of our lives, Circle can be an anchor, a fixed resting point where we can relax and reflect on all that has happened and all of what may happen in our lives.
A place to freely voice our inner stories and for them to land onto listening and accepting hearts, to be held with love and compassion.
A place where we can feel truly heard and in this exchange of expressing we can feel clearer and be able to hear our own truth more clearly. I believe the answer to any question or uncomfortable feeling we have is held in our own intuitive wisdom. The clearer we are the clearer this truth is heard by us. All parts of you are welcome in Circle, all stories and all emotions.
No two Circles are ever identical as they expand and contract in response to the energy and pulse from those who sit in it. The circle beats and breathes with us, it can be joyful and it can be tender, most of the time it is both.

We are all equal in Circle, there is no hierarchy, we all listen and hold each other in equal amounts. We leave judgement at the door and allow our truth of compassion and acceptance to breathe through us as we connect to ourselves and listen to our own internal dialogue as well as when listening to the other women we sit with.
What women have been saying:
Women's Circles are an ancient practice that happened here in Europe thousands of years ago.
My ancestors on the land of Ireland and England would have regularly gathered in circle with other women. They would have honoured their monthly cycle, shared stories and developed their spiritual practises around a fire to cook their food or warm their hands.
All ages would have gathered together, youngers and elders learning, growing and inspiring each other. The Circles I hold are are for all ages too, above eighteen. All women are welcome no matter their ethnicity, sexuality, disability or socioeconomic background.
This gathering is not a social gathering, it is a sacred one.
We, as humans, need connection with others for our physical and mental health and wellbeing.
We do not respond with words after someone has shared. The power is in being heard, truly being listened to. This creates that feeling of true connection we all desire.

In Circle there is no vying for attention or having to act in a certain way to appease someone else. We are free to be our true selves here or at least give that a go for the short period we are together.
A few things Circle can do:
Reconnect you to yourself, other women and nature on a deeper level than you have before.
Allow you to relax into a soft space full of supportive energy away from the busyness of your everyday.
To feel fully grounded physically, emotionally and in who you are.
To reclaim your confidence as a peaceful and powerful woman to live your life’s purpose and to live it with purpose.
Act as a catalyst for you to ignite or develop your sense of belonging, creating waves of calm and reassurance out into your everyday life.
To remember the sublime nature of Woman and how rich and beautiful being a Woman can be.
Knowing your worth, truth and self more and more.
To hear and trust your own intuition and to find the answers within.
To respect, honour and love yourself fully and deeply.
To feel less anxiety, depression and frustration and feel more joy, energy and passion in your everyday life.
To believe in the power of women, to heal any sister wounds.
Each women’s experience is different as we each land into the Circle from different places. This list may or may not resonate with you post circle, other more beautiful outcomes may emerge for you instead. The more you attend circle the more these effects of Circle have the time to blossom for you.
